Brighton lies 30 miles to the East of Chichester along the coast. It is a vibrant cultural city which boasts an abundance of restaurants, cafes and wine bars. The Bustling Lanes offer wonderful boutiques for those one off purchases that are just that bit different from the high street norm.
Visit the spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George IV) otherwise known as The Brighton Pavilion. There are shows of furniture and works of art including original pieces on loan from HM The Queen and an impressive display of Regency silver-gilt.
The Royal Pavilion Tearoom balcony overlooks the fabulous Pavilion gardens, which have also been returned to their original Regency splendour.
For the young at heart, check out the top bands playing at the Brighton Centre along the seafront before drifting off into the night to sample cocktails at one of the hundreds of busy bars.
