Arundel captures that medieval feel, with the impressive Cathedral looming over the town and the Castle walls running down the main high street you can just imagine a knight on his steed charging straight at you! There are lots of quirky antique shops and tea rooms to enjoy as well as visiting the Castle & Stately Home of the Duke & Duchess of Norfolk is Open from April to October. The Castle also acts as an impressive backdrop to the Lido which is open May – September. In the summer you can hire kayaks and paddle along the river Arun or hire a row boat at Swanbourne lake and feed the ducks!
