West Wittering Beach is accessible from Fishbourne by car or bicycle along Salterns Way an off road track which runs to the peninsula across local farmland.

The beach is privately owned and maintained by Wittering Estate and is a National Trust site.  With white sand dunes and a sandy spit called ‘East Head’ it attracts millions of visitors each year.  There is a local windsurfing club on site where you can book lessons for Wind and Kite surfing, hire stand up paddle boards and take advantage of the clubs shower facilities.  There is a cafe and loo block for your convenience too.

The beach looks out across the Chichester harbour to Hayling island with the back drop of the south downs and Goodwood race course visible on the horizon.
